The 26 string Anne is Stoney End's newest harp model.

It is designed to fill a growing demand for a harp between the 22 string and 29 string models. It has a Celtic shape and a range from C below middle C to the 2nd G above it. It is 35 " high and weighs 12 pounds.

It has a great sound because of the larger box and low mass soundboard. Since it is sized between a lap harp and a floor harp, it will seem awkward to hold on to at first.

We recommend that you get one of our Harp Stuff adjustable belts. It will make holding this harp less scary and much more fun. Being able to play all the way down to C will give this lap harp a exciting new range.

This harp is by special order only, and price includes Loveland levers on the C and F strings. Full levers available Please call us at 1-888-world70 to discuss total price and delivery time.

Probably the biggest area of growth is using the harp as an instrument of healing. Both the use of the hands on the strings to restore the health of the nervous system and the creative process of making music to restore the mind lead one to better health. When you start looking for a harp to buy, I hope you will seek out other harp players for advice and give the Stoney End harp a try.

All of our Stoney End harps have a similar construction. They use solid Walnut, Cherry or Maple wood for the structural frame and pinblock. The plywood side and back panels are inserted into dado cuts in the solid corners and the base. This makes a durable and strong, yet very lightweight harp body. Their soundboards are the heart of their good sound. They use a Finnish aircraft grade 3 millimeter Birch laminate. This provides exceptional strength with low weight and allows them to make cutouts on both the bottom and top ends of the string band. This opens up the soundboard and makes it free to vibrate over its entire surface, something that thicker, stiffer, more confined soundboards cannot do. No other small harp is able to produce the good sound that theirs do. We believe that Stoney End produces harps with the best combination of good sound, and affordable price anywhere in the world today.

When you order a Stoney End harp, you can choose between American Black Walnut, Cherry, or Maple wood. Both are finished with 3 clear coats of Deft brand Nitrocellulose Laquer.

Most of their harps are strung with Nylon, but any of them can be strung with wire with wire for a clear bell-like sound.
