very old and rare carved ivory elephant bridge. It features 7 elephants graduated from small to big. The carving is very beautifully done and lifelike. All 7 elephants are a different size. The biggest one is 3 in x 2 in and the smallest is about 1" long. They are carved out of one solid elephant tusk.
The elephant tusk is 15 1/4 inches long. The base is 17 1/4 " and is either rosewood or iron wood, it is very heavy. The height of base and elephants at the tallest point is 5 1/2 inches.
There are a couple of repaired areas on the base, we can email additional photos if desired, in larger sizes.
